500m Round Quick Deploy Target

The target sizes correlates to 2.0 Minutes of Angle (MoA) @ 500 metres or 1.0 MoA @ 1000 metres

This Quick Deploy Target System mounts directly onto a standard everyday star picket (aka star dropper). This is a complete assembly, all you need is a star picket to mount it too and you are ready to shoot! Simply slide the assembly over star picket, secure it in place with the included shaft lock pin and start plinking. 

NOTE: When positioning the star picket, be sure to have the triangle facing away from the shooting line, as the dropper mount only goes on one way.

  • 8mm thick welded steel dropper bracket. 
  • Sleeved target mount to allow one or more QD targets to be mounted at various heights. 
  • Spring loaded target mount to promote reaction on impact and provide forward lean. 
  • Supplied as a finished (painted) assembly

Note: This is a static target system, as such the minimum recommended shooting distance for centrefire rifles is 200m.

In a world where everything seems disposable - its so good to come across a product that is functional & will stand the test of time. These quick deploy targets are simply the best target system out there - bar none - a star picket & hammer & you're done - super easy to erect. I purchased the 291mm target a while ago & its smaller sibling (270mmish just recently). Used at distance with both my .223, .243 & 6.5 Creedmoor - the steel used seems impervious to bullet strikes - after a number of uses I'm yet to even mark this steel. A quick clean up with my grinder - a lick of fresh paint & they are brand new again. $125 + postage seems like a lot of $$ & it probably is - but I reckon my STS targets will outlive me so compared to other systems out there - they are good value for your hard earned. Nothing better than the loud gong that comes from a bullet strike at distance with these spring loaded systems. Do I recommend them - you betcha :)
